When 8CCC digitised a VHS recording of the launch of 8CCC’s CDU Studio’s in 1986 we spotted this shirt – worn by Craig Moore who was the Station Manager at the time.
It’s been lovingly recreated by Nico from Gap Rd Design for a special reissue celebrating over 40 years of broadcasting on 8CCC 102.1FM.
A photo of 8CCC’s Comms & Content Coordinator wearing one was spotted online by Roger Mckenzie, a volunteer broadcaster who presented a metal show ‘From The Bottom of The Pond’, and drive time in the 80’s/90’s from the original Centralian Community College studios. Roger gave a shot out to Andrew Kelly, connecting us with the original artist behind the 1986 logo design!
